This guide helps you bind your agent to WhatsApp with a QR code.

You do not need to paste a long-lived token. Instead, you will generate a QR code in Spira AI and scan it with WhatsApp on your phone.

Prerequisites

A phone with the target WhatsApp account signed in
Access to the AI Influencer Agent page
Enough time to complete the QR scan before the session expires

Setup Steps

Open the AI Influencer and go to the Agent page.
Select WhatsApp.
Click Generate QR Code.
Scan the QR code with the target WhatsApp account.
Wait for Spira AI to detect a successful login and bind the channel.

What To Expect

Spira AI will generate a QR code for the current login session.
After the QR appears, the page waits for your phone to finish the login.
If the QR code expires, just generate a new one and try again.

Common Pitfalls

The QR code expires before the phone scan finishes
The wrong WhatsApp account scans the code
The browser tab closes during the polling window
Network interruptions prevent the completion signal from reaching the product

Troubleshooting

The QR Code Keeps Expiring

Generate a new QR code and complete the scan immediately. Avoid leaving the dialog idle while switching devices.

Check whether the mobile device actually confirmed the login. If it did not, restart the flow. If it did, retry and check whether the page still has network access.

I Need To Switch Accounts

Use the re-scan flow to connect a different WhatsApp account. This replaces the current channel binding.
