What you get
Simple tools, clear results, no unnecessary steps
Clean audio from audio or video files
Upload the recording you already have. The tool reads the audio track and returns a cleaned WAV.
Designed for constant background noise
It works best on steady fan noise, air-conditioning hum, microphone hiss and consistent room tone behind speech.
Editing-friendly WAV output
The result is a 48 kHz WAV, avoiding another lossy encoding pass after noise reduction.
A finished, ready-to-use file
Download the complete converted file in the format you chose, with no preview-only result or watermark.
Nothing to install
Open the tool on a phone or computer and get started. No app or extension is required.
Free to use
Conversion is free with a signed-in Spira account. There is no per-file charge and no length ceiling hidden behind a paywall.
When does audio denoising work best?
Use it when speech is understandable but a constant background sound makes the recording feel rough. Podcasts, voice-overs, interviews, tutorials and talking-head videos with one steady noise source are good candidates.
What noise reduction cannot fix
Denoising cannot reliably separate two people speaking at once, remove music underneath a voice or repair clipping and distortion. Sudden sounds such as knocks, keyboard taps or traffic horns may also remain because they are not steady noise.
FAQ
What background noise can it reduce?
It is designed for steady sounds such as fan noise, air-conditioning hum, microphone hiss and consistent room tone.
Can I upload a video?
Yes. Upload an audio or video recording and the tool will process its audio track. The download is an audio-only WAV file.
Can it remove music or another person's voice?
No. It cannot cleanly separate overlapping voices or music from the speaker you want to keep. It is intended for constant background noise.
Why is the result a WAV?
A 48 kHz WAV avoids adding compression artifacts after noise reduction and is easy to edit, sync back to video or convert later.
The conversion is the small end of it
Spira AI takes a script or a link and produces a finished short with voiceover, visuals and captions, then publishes it on a schedule. These tools are the bits you reach for along the way.
